HELLDORADO DAYS PARADE: The Confederate Secret Service Camp 1710 of Sierra Vista, Arizona was joined by the Captain Hunter’s Arizona Rangers Camp 1202 of Tucson, Arizona and the Texas John Slaughter Camp 2074 of Tombstone, Arizona as they took part in the 76th Annual Helldorado Days celebration in Tombstone, "The Town Too Tough To Die," on 21-23 October 2005. Helldorado Days began in 1929 at the celebration of Tombstone's 50th anniversary. The S.C.V. entry in the Helldorado parade included a marching infantry detachment, a mounted color guard and a buckboard pulled by a matched team of mules for the "older gentlemen." As always, the S.C.V. entry was very well received, with many people cheering and/or saluting the Confederate colours as they passed by.  Pictured above, the infantry prepare to move out.  Pictured (l to r) are Walt Nichols, Camp 1202; David Barton, Camp 1202;Ben Middleton, Camp 1710; and Silas Griffin, Camp 1710.
