7 October 2006: Convention, Arizona Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy. Holiday Inn, 1600 S. Country Club Drive, Mesa, AZ 85210. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Registration Fee is $3.00. Luncheon selections sre Beef Tri-tip ($30.00) or Cheese Tortellini ($20.00). Make checks payable to "Thunderbird Chapter" and mail reservations to Deanna Adams, 10202 N. 56th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85302.
7 October 2006: The City of Wilcox will hold the annual Rex Allen Days Rodeo and parade. The Confederate Secret Service Camp 1710 will participate. For more information, contact Curt Tipton at cssscv@earthlink.net.
