DIVISION AND CAMP OFFICERS OF THE ARIZONA DIVISION
|
Compatriots, It looks like the Arizona Division membership retention is pretty good. We didn't make a 100% score across the board but it wasn't bad. Again I want to challenge each member to recruit at least one new member. I know some of you have already had success in your recruitment efforts. Let's all do the same!
I would like to comment on service in our organization. True, everyone has a busy schedule and this organization is based on volunteer participation. However, we need to put forth an stronger effort to meet the obligations of the offices in which we have volunteered to serve. Camps, Brigades and the Division need strong leadership. Let's try to be more responsible and attentive to duties. It is essential that we all attend camp, brigade and division meetings and activities whenever possible. Prompt communication is vital to maintain a well organized division. If you’re not an officer in one of the units it is still important that you attend as many activities as you can. It takes every member of the Arizona Division to make it strong and viable.
I Remain Your Obedient Servant,
John W. Mangum, Commander Arizona Division SCV
